1.Using MiniAlbum

1.1 Create MiniAlbum photo (*.mab) file

0. Install MiniAlbum

MiniAlbum/MiniAlbumLite has two programs:

1.Using MiniAlbum

1.1 Create MiniAlbum photo (*.mab) file

You need MiniAlbum Creator to convert photo file in jpeg(*.jpg) or gif(*.gif) format to MiniAlbum photo file(*.mab). MiniAlbum/MiniAlbumLite can only view mab files.

To create mab file:

  1. Launch MiniAlbum Creator by doubl clicking the MiniAlbumPartner.jar. It will open the MiniAlbum Creator panel.

  2. Click "Browse..." to browse to the photo file (*.jpg, *.gif). A photo window will be opened for the photo.

    The photo's size is automatically changed to fit into 160X160 pixels, and is converted to 16 level gray scale. Click "Diffuse" if you want to use diffuse to simulate more gray scale levels.

  3. Browse to the folder you want to store your MiniAlbum photo file, give the file name as *.mab (e.g. bottles.mab), and click "Open" button.
  4. Click "Save" to save the mab file.
  5. Close the photo window after save.

1.2 Download MiniAlbum photo to pocket viewer

  1. Transfer the mab file to "/MiniAlbum" folder in pocket viewer using MFSClient/MFSTool. (If you are familiar with MFSTool/MFSClient, you can skip descriptions from step 2. to 6.)
  2. Launch MFSClient browse to the mab file you created.
  3. Launch MFS Server from MFSTool.
  4. Click "Connect" from MFSClient, and browse to "/MiniAlbum" folder. If this folder does not exist, you can create it by clicking "MkDir" from MFSClient, or just launch MiniAlbum/MiniAlbumLite to create it.
  5. Copy the mab file to the "/MiniAlbum" folder by clicking "->" from MFSClient.
  6. Click "Shutdwn" from MFSClient to shutdown MFS Server. Exit both MFSClient and MFSTool.

1.3 Browse between photos

Launch MiniAlbum/MiniAlbumLite from pocket viewer. A welcome screen will be displayed.

Touch screen to continue. (You may need to touch screen and hold for more than 1 second, it is same for all touch operations in MiniAlbum).

After your photo is loaded, touch the lower half of screen to browse to next photo, touch the upper half of the screen to browse to previous photo.

1.4 Select photo from list (for MiniAlbum only)

If you are using MiniAlbum, you can pop up the photo list by touching "MenuBar" hard icon. Select the photo you want to view by touching the photo file name.

The last photo you view when you quit MiniAlbum will be opened next time you launch MiniAlbm.

1.5 Quit MiniAlbum

You can quit MiniAlbum/MiniAlbumLite by touching any hard icon (For MiniAlbum, except "MenuBar").
